68EFIvert...I like it. You put in a lot of the features I want...extra gauges, cup holders, stroage space, power window/lock switches...plus added a couple speakers! I didn't think of that but it's a great way to upgrade the sound system capablilty! I think I am just going to have to dive in and build my own since I can't find anything "stock" or aftermarket that will do what I want.

Hey How did you mock yours up did you just used cardboard to get the measurements and transfer the outline to cardboard also did you fill the speaker area with any type of damping material or is it just wood? looks really awesome you did a great job what size Speakers?

Thanks for the nice compliments guys. I did use cardboard to get the right proportions and look. I transferred that to plywood and then went to town. The frame took a few hours to build. The speakers are just 4" and I don't have any kind of dampening material. I have a convertible so I wanted as many speakers as I could get since most of the sound will go to the rest of the world. I have 8 speakers hidden throught my car.

Not a console, but thats next on my list!

Here's some pics of my 'back seat' lol

For the purists: I didn't drill any holes, and it would take me about 30 minutes to put it back to original!

Looks nice i was planning on doing something along those lines. I like the CUSTOM look very much. I also like to add a touch of my own creativity
