Default original vacuum line? cut or save?

I have what I have been told is the original hard bent vacuum line. It is in okay shape. I am wondering if it is worth saving or selling, or if I should just cut it and put a rubber hose on it. I got a new HEI that requires a rubber hose, and I am having trouble finding the fitting. what do you think? SAVE OR CUT?

save it then take the pipe with you to find the correct fitting

ya... tried that... took it to two auto parts stores and neither of them had anything like it and both were surprised that any vacuum line would be hard bent.
