Default Spot welder report

I purchased one of the 170.00 110 spot welders from Harbor Freight today and i have to say that i am impressed. It works really well, but you must keep firm pressure on the clamps and the metal must be clean on both sides.

I'm glad i purchased it thus far

Is it pretty easy to use vs. a MIG?

I'm using plug welds and spot welds on the old panels, but i didnt want to make a mess with the mig on the new panels that are going to be visible.

I would say that its a lot easier to use over the mig. You just slapit on and push the button and 10 seconds or less later you have a nice 1/4" diameter spot weld.
I'll take some pictures this weekend and post them
