Ouch, that rail is painful to look at! Some duct tape and bondo ought to take care of it though. And...where the Hell was that car stored...in a midwestern hayfield? Five snake skins? If they were from the same snake thats five years worth of snake residence! Well, at least they had mice to eat.
The tires were bald on my '06 GT and I didn't have the money to buy the ones I wanted. I parked it for a few weeks and drove my truck to work. Anyway, the first day I drove my stang to work I stopped to get gas and when I opened to gas cap door and reached in to take off the gas cap and I got stung by a wasp...they had built a nest just inside the door....had to hose them down with some 93 octane before I could finishfilling the tank.
I allways kill wasps/bees/hornets with soapy water.. It works like a charm.. clogs their pores and suffocates them.. and its cheap as hell.. Grab a almost empty bottle of shampoo or dish soap and fill it with water, and just squirt the hell out of the nest.. Dead bugs in about 2 minutes.. I grew up in a trailer and we allways had to battle the wasps every time we cut the grass around the front of the house (the trailer hitch)..
Sorry about the Highjack.....Yeah the soapy water thing works great, but when I'm standing at the gas pump and my left hand has been stung and the right hand is holding the nozzle for the gas pump.....use the tool your got with you.
It does make me wonder what I'm going to find in all the cracks and crevices of the car as I get more stuff taken apart.
Finding multiple snake skins makes you really wonder....

All of those snake skins are just from behind the instrument cluster. I havent gotten into the rest of the dash yet. The car came out of the mountains of west virginia. The drivers door also had four skins in that. I am quessing all the rough edges made for a good spot to shed the skin. What bothers me the most is the spiders I hate them with a passion. I am going to give that soapy water trick a try the next i run into some wasps.
