Default slave cylinder

just found my p/s cylinder to be loose as hell. bushings are gone and the rod is bent at the end. should i get new bushings and unbend the rod or get a whole new piece?surprisingly it doesn't leak either.

If the rod is bent just buy a new cylinder.. It would be far better than trying to fix the old one and make it work.. Im supprised its not leaking. Is the rod scratched? Where at the end is it bent? If you could straighten it with a press and it not actually go into the ram bent then maybe you could get away with straightening it.

Exactly where is the rod bent? if at the end where the bushings go don't worry about it. If its in the chrome, time for a new cylinder.

i really am sorry for the lateness, I just have been going through some rough times and haven't had time to myself.it was bent at the end, not the chrome ram part. I straightenend it and it would've worked fine, but the threads were too damaged to save, so i just bought a new one the day after and installed it. it came in two days from virgina classic mustang. they are really good about their parts and delivery. works perfectly.
