hey all radiator issues

Default hey all radiator issues

i have coupe 65 with a 347 and descent radiator with 3 rows.... it constantly strays at 190 but once i start driving a lil further somewhere it starts to rise and rise..... should i get a better newer radiator? i have shroud and a electrical fan too in front of the radiator it starts to go up to 200 and 210 cruising once im going further in travel likme 10-25 miles where i live... is it ok or should i do something??

Yeah, you should do something. It is not summer yet and it looks like you are already having issues. Assuming your cooling system is working good like the water pump, fans moving enough air etc. you may want to look at an aluminum radiator especially if your engine is bored out any.

yea it is... also because this radiator is the one i got with the car original 289 u know... but i need help wat good aluminum radiator is good.. because the water pump is aluminum and everything else is new.... im willing to spend the money just need some advice which would be good
