Default anyone else have a hard time

finding stangs that are in decent condition that aernt 20k+ it seems all over the chicago area thats all there is. or theyre complete pieces of poop and have nothing that is useable besides the frame. ive been looking for months now for a fastback to build and ive come up with nothing. its quite frustrating.

any fastback even a craptastic one will bring more IMO than it's worth but when they are done 20 k+ is the standard it seems

If you find one for 5g's that not a total basket case, buy it. To replace a couple of body panels is cheep, but in a few years your going to kick your self..

if youre looking for a fastback then youll pretty much only find a crappy one or a complete one. rarely one in the middle.

my coupe was supposedly in the middle but once i started tearing a few things off, next thing i know its a rolling shell and im outta money []. so if you find one in the middle then you better really check it out good to be sure it doesnt have to be stripped all the way down like mine .

5 grand for a fastback is cheap no matter what shape its in.Im in kentucky any fastback 65-70 is 8 grand or more and there more rust then metal.Theres two ways to get one pay a lot for a rust free body or buy one thats 5-8 grand range fix the rust and start from there. But if you think a fastback is high look up the convertibles there just as high. But you want to see a pricey car 67-73 camaro 10 grand for a rusted out inline 6 plan jane.
