Default Reproduction Bumpers

Was just wondering which reproduction bumpers you think are the best? I am looking at NPD 17757-1A (front) and 17906-1A (rear)for my 66. I have had good luck so far with NPD, plus they are local for me. Has anyone else used the ones they sell?

I got mine from CJ pony parts, just for the rear and it fit good. I think most of the bumpers available are either made in Taiwan or Japan. They are usually good fitting peices unlike some body panels, now they can vary widely.

I got mine from Virginia Classic Mustang, both less than $90.

I have purchased a ton of parts from these guys, they are great and have a quick turnaround on orders.

There's a new option for the repro bumpers, the Nordan ones. I can't speak from experience, but I have heard they are better quality than the other asian made ones. Mustangs unlimited also says they have a lifetime warranty against peeling.

I bought a nordan last year and fit was good but finish left something to be desired. I thought I read somewhere NPD was carrying a new maker that has much better quality. Worth a call to verify.

The only problem I have ever had with CJ's was the rear bumper they sent me. The outside edges would not line up right. I ended up getting one from Maryland Mustang (who I hate) but it fit great. Going on two years now and still nice and shiny.

I know this doesn't answer your question about NPD but I would recommend measuring your new one against your old one when you get it. I put mine on and took it off three times before I realized it was the bumper not me that had issues.

After a buddy hit mine, I ordered some repros from NPD and they were perfect, the chrome quality is very nice.

Well I have not had to order new bumpers but, based on past purchases I would either have to go with Mustangsunlimited or laural mountain mustang. I have never had a bad product from either of these sites and the shipping speed with mustangsunlimited is extraordinary.

I got my bumpers from NPD and they were Nordan, made in Japan. They are nice reproductions.
