i can defiantly wait, i am a college kid and i go to school near Kansas City, MO. and the mustang is in St. Louis, MO
. if would not be too much trouble could you take some pics of the whole process and put them up on this thread. i know i did not replace them when i restored my car and i probly should have. how much do the bearings cost. thanks again for the help.

There are no bearings, simply a couple plastic bushings, some retaining clips, and some felt grease retainers. I picked up a kit for $13 at M+, but I'm sure most other wherehouses keep them as well.
I'll see what I can do about pics, but no guarantees there. I don't have a camera, so I have to steal my roommate's.
You really need to get a factory shop manual, though. It details pretty much anything you'd need to do to the car.
