Hello everyone!! I got a question about door carpet. The other day I saw a pic of a 66 Mustang and doors had carpeting right below the door panels. It looked real professional, the carpet appeared to match the rest. I was just wondering if anybody here has ever seen this? I have a 65 and I want to do this, it looks real nice. I just don't know where these carpet pieces can be purchased. My doors were cut for speakers and it was a very bad job, in the wrong place anyways. I want to get this carpeting to go across the bottom of the doors to cover these holes. Thanks for any info!!

I have never seen carpet like that maybe its custom done.Also http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCa...r/int-pnls.htm if you could get the abs door skin only would cover your holes. http://mpproductsinaz.com/index.html made them email them see if you can get that skin only.

 

its supposed to be for 69-73... never seen it for earlier models before. i do agree it looks sharp. call your local parts place and ask them to measure the ones for 69-70.. might be able to make them work with little effort. call npd. they work on commission (i used to work there, so i know) and for a sale, most salesmen will gladly go measure for you. I wouldve.

 

must be why the salesman wouldnt price match my 2k dollars worth of disc brakes? oh well probably lost a decent sized commision. i went thru jegs saved over 700$

npd was about 2700 for front and rear for my ssbc kits
