Tomorrow I plan on putting in a new flamethrower 2 ignition coil for that hotter spark. I understand that because of my older style coil I need to bypass the resistor wire leading to the ignition switch. But my question is what gauge of wire should I be using? I have some 14ga wire on hand. Also I have heard its not possible to solder the new wire to the switch because of the resistor wires heat resistance, is this true?
