Default "constant" switched power

hi - i am setting up an ignition kill system for which I need a switched power source that continues to give me power as the engine is being cranked. I tried the center bolt on the ignition switch but it does not provide power while the engine is being cranked.

Any suggestions? I searched through the forums but didnt find an answer, and I guess my next step is to dig into the wiring diagram.

thanks!

tj

Default RE: "constant" switched power

I can help you. I just put in a push start ignition last week. The way I wired it the button had constant power. The center bolt is the ground for the ignition switch. You will need to splice the switch with the yellow wire that connects to the ignition switch. It is constant power.
