I am looking for a Neutral Safety Switch for my Mach 1 -69(351w+FMX) but cant find one.
Do you know if it´s placed on the transmission or in the shifter. Do you know iftheyuse the same switch for the back-up lights. Appreciate some help! Thanks!!

I have my car up on stands right now I can check when I get underneath there again. I've never had to deal with it so I'm not sure where it is.

One idea would be to follow the harness that goes down the firewall back towards the tranny and see where it goes down to.

 

It is in the shifter.
