throw out the rubber!!
redoing all my suspension for street/track use. Wondering if I should replace all my rubber bushings with polyurethane? I havent been on here for a while but if i remember, wasnt there an issue with "squeaking"?
Yes. Poly squeaks
That's just what it does. Even if you grease it liberally upon installation, it usually ends up squeaking down the road.
Polygraphite and midolyne are both good alternatives to standard polyurethane. They're stiff like poly, but they have lubricants built into the bushing material to prevent squeaking.
That said, prepare for a pretty stiff ride if you go all poly. Great for a track car, not so great for a street car.

I knew Polyurethane bushings squeak a lot and knew that the Polygraphite & Midolyne didn't due to the lubricants added to them already. However.. I didn't know they would stiffen up the car that much.
The car will be the wife's daily driver and while I want to stiffen it up a little overall I'm not looking for track stiffness. Should I just go with the stock type rubber bushings or with either Polygraphite & Midolyne?

I just put in all Poly. It is nice stuff and if your motor is bad enough, you cannot hear the squeaks. The only bushing you should use something else is the strut arm. If you use poly, it is too hard and will break the strut.
Mild 289, headers, 2.5 duals... Lots of sound/heat proofing. Regardless of the engine I'd simply prefer it not squeak at all. Guess I'll go with rubber. Since it'll be the wife's DD she'll hear this and you know who'll have to crawl under it and start replacing things again.
