Default 1967 Heater Core Replacement?

Howdy again,

Does anyone know if it would be Easier to take a heater core out threw the firewall or does it need to come out under the dash on a 1967 Mustang with Factory in-dash A/C system. The car is in the body shop now, and I didn't know if it might come out threw the firewall or not, which would be so much easier for me to do it now rather then later.

Thanks for any help,
Tony

Unfortunately, it comes out from under the dash. Next to cowl replacement, this is the second hardest job to do on your 67 with air. Here is a tech article on how to do it. http://www.mustangmonthly.com/howto/5769/
