Default horn help

ok i got a 65 mustang coupe i just bought the original steering wheel and the center chrome horn they come with...but it wont sound the horn... the chrome horn does connect with the two lil bronze circle parts that screwed into the center of the wheel, but wat does that connect to? my question i guess is when the chrome center makes contact with the two lil circle parts thats are tightend down to0 the circle chrome part behind the steering wheel.. what conects from there to the steerin column.. the turn signal works fine..am i missing something on the steering colum that should make contact to the horn on the steering wheel?

Default RE: horn help

i just got my horn working on my 66. Bought a new steering wheel and a new turn signal switch. The turn signal switch has two pins with springs that contact the back side of the sterring wheel. My steering wheel was cracked and the 2 contact rings were distorted.
Take a jumper wire and connect from positive side of battery to the horn contact elec. spade to see if the horns are working.Thats were I would start.Do you have a spring between the horn ring and the steering wheel. there should be a spring there. Try buying a horn kit . they are cheap. 10 bucks or so.
