Default Saturday project

I started my interior the other day and finished her up as far as I could go until I get my new upholstery. After welding in my roll bar I coated the floorpans with por15. That crap is expen$ive! After that dried I insulated and carpeted. This new carpet is a bear to put down. Hopefully next weekend I will have my seats in.

looks good. You are miles ahead of me. I wish I was closer to that stage in my project.

ive come to the conclusion that EVERY part or section you work on your car on, you have to do it slow. otherwise, for me and my dad, we get overwhelmed.

valleyfirearms, whatre the wires coming from under the carpet? looks thicker than speaker wire.

I usually have a couple of projects going on with the car. That way, if I get stopped for materials or just plain frustrated with one job I can switch to the other for while. Yesterday I was having a b*tch of a time getting a patch to fit so I stopped for a while and removed the inside rear view mirror and cleaned it. This morning the patch went much better.

The wires are inteneded for speakers. I'm not a sterio expert by any means. I hope the wires being too big will not affect the speakers performance. I came across a bunch of speaker wire when we remodeled Elmendorfs top gun secret sqirrel rooms on base. I have some that's even heavier. The wires you see are for the speakers in my headrests.Jim, that is a great plan. It gives you a fresh start if you get frustrated and deadlocked.

Yes, the seats do have speakers in the headrests. They are Pontiac Fiero seats. This is what they are going to look like.
