Default starting problems

when my 65 with 347 sits with out having being started in a day it starts up right upp like charm... so nce i go ot and drive it and park it and turn it off... then it sits from watever it can be 5 min to anhour or so when i try to turn it on it like stalls like it wont just start up then it revs and revs and then it turns on but with a bad idle like it wants to turn off... then wen i put it on drive or reverse the idle is real bad the fuel pressure get low and fluctuates... one thing to not my voltage is barely at 10... is it my crappy battery? the battery is old.. and i have an electric fan also juicing it up... im thinkin i dont have enoug power... my carb fuel is good so i think its the battery power???

Default RE: starting problems

hmmm ...if it starts right up when it's been sitting for a day and bithcing when it's been off for only 5 mins, then I'm quite sure it's not a battery issue.
I'd rather say it might have to do with the carb leaking into the manifold after you switch off the engine (just an idea). So after a day everything is dried out again, but after 5 mins or 1 hour after stop the carb has flodded the intake. Not sure but would be an explanation
