Gauge wiring question
I'm in the process of wiring up an Autometer speedometer, tach (elec.), fuel (elec.), and water temperature (mech.). At this point it looks like a total mess b/c I have 8 different hot wires (6 for the bulbs and 2 for the electrical gauges) and 8 different ground wires...
Is there a SAFE way to condense all these wires into ONE? I was envisioning some type of radioshack part that would allow me to plug in 8 wires and have a single one coming out the other end...
Anyone know what I'm talking about or have a solution?
Thanks!

14 gauge will do. As for combining, I solder my customers wires together. Your only going to have three wires together for the gauge + power, 4 wires for theswitch side of the lights and you can do two sets of grounds, one set for the lights and the other for the - power for the gages.
