Default Tranny question

I am an newbie so bear with me if I sound dumb...I have a bear bones 66 mustang coupe with a mustang II front suspension (if that matters). I have a 351W on an engine stand and have been looking to pair it with a 5 speed. I've come across a 5 speed out of a 04 mustang GT on craigslist that has roughly 8000 miles on it. Would this particular transmission work with my engine, make and model mustang? If so, what types of things should I look for when I go and look at it? Any advice at all would be great....thanks

Lipp, from what little I have read, stay with 93 and older t-5. I am fixing to do the same swap in my 65 from a toploader. I too have been asking questions on this topic.
