Help with #1 on distributor
Hey guys
I have a 302 and just bought a Mallory HEI distributor. My ? is how do you determine the #1 spark plug wire connects. There isn't any marks on the distributor cap telling where #1 is. Any help!

You have to get #1 to TDC on compression, spike the dizzy and align it so the rotor is pointing to whichever terminal you use as #1, then put the rest of the wires on going in the correct firing order.
