Power Brake Conversion Question
Hey guys,
I had a question: What is the difference between a power brake "conversion" and just buying a power booster/MC? I have manual wilwood disk brakes up front and drums out back and want to go to power...but the "conversions" are almost $200 more than a power booster/MC combo! Considering that I have a 70's MC, converted from an auto to manual pedal setup, have had to modify my brake light switch to work, etc...I think I'd be able to handle a little modification to make the power booster/mc fit if thats what I'd be paying the extra $200 for. Any input/suggestions?

all you really would need is a MC and booster and plumb the lines and maype a rpoportioning valve for your set up... the conversion kit comes with everything needed...probably stuff you already have
yea i already have a proportioning valve, and I have braided lines so I doubt the pressure would be a problem (doubt it). I do have a cam tho....is this going to cause vaccuum drop/fluctuations to the point where I shouldn't go power? are there solutions to this problem? That and does anyone know if a 1970u MC will mate to a 67 power booster? Thanks in advance
