Pulsar Spark Plugs
As a trained auto technician, I take claims of performance improvements with a suspicous mindset. However, looking at the claims made by the mfg'r of the Pulsar spark plug it seems to indicate that they make more energy with the same amout of applied secondary voltage since they have a small "pulse generator" contained in the plug . Thus, a poor man's hi-output coil.
Anyone seen or heard or experiencedany true results of using these pluge?

They are pulstar plugs and I have been watching them to see if they catch on like the e3 plugs are now. The pulstars are 25 to 35 dollars a piece and so I am not sure if the gains are worth it.

30 days no questions asked. you eat the S&H
If they're as much as 69 says, screw it -you can buy known good hi-po stuff for that kind of money.

Well they give the example that the breakeven point is 12 months. That is if all the gains are as they claim.
So these only 'might' help if the motor is in good shape and all is in working order.
I would have to go with jlg2002:
A CDI box and big coil for the same money. And with CDI you get multiple spark.

heres an example. my father purchased these for the fleet Expedition. what happened? lean on both banks. misfire on 5 out of the 8. we take them out, you can twist the porcelain around completely on one, the other the elctrode completely broke off. we took them out, put back in autolites. runs perfect. tried them on my 98 GT. same thing. misfires - we got lucky on these as they are refunding our money but definitely not worth the $$ - personally i think they are a joke. the picture of the ignition flame it makes on their ad is the same on the autolite box. what a joke.
