Default No Power Steering!

I replaced my ps valve and cyllinder today and when I got is all bolted up I had no pwer steering. so I switched the two lines that come off the cyllinder and my wheel went all wonky and jerked back and forth. so I put them back and still no power. any ideas?

hmm, if you put them on backwards (which is why the wheel leans like it did,) i would assume that means the pump IS pumping but mabeye not enough? got all the fluid in? belt tight enough?

they are pretty simple. im just guessing here

I'd check with Stanger53. He is theguru on p/s systems. You can also check at http://www.stangerssite.com/.

okay, I turned the wheels from lock to lock several times and nothing. is there a chance I damaged the valve by instaling the lines backwards or the pump?
