Hi there,,, I want to take the easy way out this year and do a thin coat of touch up paint on some exterior emblems - the side scoops and the tri bar. (I'll be replacing them next year - or so the good intention goes)

The black on the scoops looks like a flat black, but I wonder if the red and blue from the tri bar has an official name or colour number.

i personally would just use something that closely resembles the color it doest have to perfectly match the other side since you cant see them side by side.

I used some small bottles of Testors enamel model paint on my gas cap & tribars (blue or dark blue & red & white). It looks fine 6 months later. I'll get new ones later, after I spend my money on the more essential stuff I need.

Typically krylon 1613 black is the universal black used .
