I don't care. I blame the oil companys. It's all just a bunch of bull**** if you ask me, and you all (people saying its not the oil companys fault) are just buying into all the propaganda. ie. "wow 68notchback! someone who is not so narrow minded? you are exactly right. most poeple cant see the situation for what it is. oil companies are not the bad guys here. i keep hearing reports that they have record profits. this is true if you look at the dollar amount. however if you look at there return on investment is is also at record lows. on average they only have about a 3% profit on there investments."

I'm off my soap box now.

The culprits are speculators IMHO. After the sub prime mess those with cash are looking for a new cash cow.
Oil is their new target. Once they have messed that enough, trying to screw every last dime out of it they will
move on to something else. Really, it's your superannuation and investment funds at work, for you.......................[:@][:@]

old news, they have been trying to work with opec and everyone else to come to a comfortable and nominal level for prices of oil, their speculated prices are anywhere from $85.00 to $95.00 a barrel, or at least thats what they are shooting for.
