I just put in a 90 something 302 ( 030 over) into my 67. I bought the Edlebrock Hipo kit from Summit racing with GT-40 heads, nice cam, a high rise manifold and an MSD box. I haven't been able to"punch it" yet, but I suspect that it has respectable power. Give me a few weeks to break itin and I will take it to the dyno and let you know how much hp it has.

I would guess then that you are upgrading from a V-6 or I-4 in your 03 stang?

If so, You may not want to "drop" in a V-8 302.
Youmay have to upgrade the transmission,brakes,alternator,p/s pump,computer,ETC...
With all of the modern technology out there you might be better off upgrading the I-4/V-6 for cheaper then swapping to a V-8 and get the same, if not better power gains.
Unless you are going for serious power then bigger is better and cheaper(V-8).
If you already have a I-4/V-6 in there just add a Supercharger or Turbo for about the same price it would cost you for the V-8 swap and have more power then a stock rebuild V-8.
You could also upgrade the fuel, exhaust, computer systems for less and get the same if not more power then a stock V-8.

Thats a sweet article. And people on here thought my 347 would be doing good to make 400 hp. HA! Ive got 50 more cubic inches (actual displacement is 352 CI), a cam thats a lot bigger, comparable headers and heads (they are my limiting factor on this thing ), and a better intake and carb combo. If Iwas to upgrade my heads to an AFR 185 or 205, and get the Mighty Demon mech. sec. instead of my current speed demon vac. sec., I could easily achieve close to 450-475 HP. I might have to upgrade to a Vicor JR style intake, maybe, but the air gap is supposed to be good up to 8000 RPM from what I hear. Oh, well. Im driving it like this for a while and maybe someday when I get out of college I will upgrade. But then again, N2O is a lot cheaper and easier.
