weld?? hell, go get the duct tape!

jk...the welding idea would be the easieest i think.

if you want to get fancy though, you could fab up a rod with threaded end, and have the end of the wire brush trheaded, and then find or make some sort of double threaded sleeve.

I just need to find someone who can weld that piece up really quick and I'm set. The toilet bowl cleaner idea doesn't sound too bad :-/

Can you get Castrol Super Clean where you live?

Starfury is right. Go to Wal-Mart. This stuff is about 7 bucks. And will take the hide off your hands. Not immediately radical. But when you use it, clean any area you do not want affected.
Works great on engine bays. Dilute as directed, spray it on, wash it off. All my rides look like you could eat from them. GOOD & CHEAP, just what you are looking for.

Most housings have bulkheads in them, so the rodents and rugs may get stuck. The steam works great and will meld most everything including skin. We just done one for a friend a few weeks ago and it came out spotless without the use of any cleaner. The GUNK did cost 2-3 dollars per can. One or two will do, but its been a year or so since I've bought any.
