RED is OVERPLAYED! I get that alot. But man does it look good! Must be a reason so many are red!!!
Mine is "Flame" Red, a Dodge Ram color.

Tarafied 1 Tony R is right. Love what you did.

Waffles, I was originally thinking of doing black with the flat black hood, but my brother's ShelbyGT is black and I know I'll have mine parked next to his at car shows (to make sure one side is protected ). I still am thinking of the black though. I was just considering something with a bit more color to stand out next to my brother's car. His is pretty flashy no matter what color he could have gotten it in.

As Henry Ford said, "Give me any car as long as the basic color is black".

Two reason's I'm leaning towards red is it would stand out next to my brother's black Shelby and the other is it was the original color...only thinking I might do something a little more modern.

But then again I'm just trying to decide BEFORE I spend the money so I'll be happy with it, which is why I was asking for everyone's opinion.

To be honest, I wanted to paint mine black. I have a black F150 and when it's clean it looks good, but it shows every little mark, chip, scratch, swirl, etc. My interior is red so I was limited on colors. I could have changed the interior to black, Lord knows I replaced it all anyway. Red just POPs! I know everyone says there are too many and its not original idea, etc. but I do not regret RED!

I always liked a 69 in gulf stream aqua or a similiar variation.Dark red pearlscan look prettyhot but I am kinda like the dude from used cars when it comes to red. I had owned one red car a 65 coupe for a about a year and a half in that time I blew three engines 4trans an 8" and grenaded a 9" cracked the case when it went(industructable my tush). Since I have owned many mustangs and never blew anything major.

if you do get a color chart take it out in the sun. interior light will throw you off of what it will really look like.
