Default Trans Oil Help

Too all the Transmission Guru's, i am about ready to put my trans back in and wanted to ask a few i'm sure common questions.

First off:
What type of oil should i put back in my torque converter, is there a anti-slip additive needed?

Secondly:
Same as above, what type of oil should i put in the trans for longevity and is there an additive needed as well.

Thanks in advanced
Rob

Type F Auto fluid.. thats it as far as I know. Just put as much as you can in the converter and then top her off after its all together. Just make sure you dont over fill.

Be carefull not to many rebuilt transmissions use type f anymore. If it is stock then yes type f but if not probably dexron3 mercon or something similar. That is what mine has now.

Thanks for the feed back, tranny is stock so i figure either one of the above oil suggestions will work out fine.

Cheers

Another quick question, how much oil am i putting in the torque converter. Fill it half full, lay it right side up and if the fluid start to trickle out then that is enough?

Cheers
