Default Radiator Woes

Hi all,

I've got a '68 coupe with a 289 and A/C, so the radiator is a 24" clamp in style with outlet/inlet on passenger side.

I sent my radiator back to Griffin after they told me they could fix its leaks. After a few weeks, they called me back to say it simply COULD NOT be fixed and that they'd "let me" buy a new one for near full price.

I don't want to give Griffin any more of my money. Can anyone suggest a different manufacturer or a universal fit radiator that might work? Or a shop that can build a custom brass piece around Petaluma, CA? Because the radiator is the clamp in and is a weird size, I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do apart from another expensive direct-fit piece.

Appreciate everyone's help, this has proven to be the most useful mustang forum I've come across. Thanks!

Clamp in place???
Have you looked at Ebay or googled for a new part?

I use 1-800-Radiator for later model cars
