68 289 what 2 do look at pics
This is my 68 i want to give it a morehorse power what should i do i just changed the air filter from a low profile to a high profile air filter but i need some help on what to do.

First off, you should look at either installing a filtered breather cap on the d-side valve cover to replace the little elbow deal, or simply install the proper elbow into the bottom of the air cleaner and run an oil-rated hose between the two. No good sucking dirty crap into your crankcase
do you want more horse power? an air cleaner isnt gunna do much. intake like the edelbrock rpm would be good on a stocker, a cam (not sure what type) a tune. headers, dual exhaust, etc
If you want power, order a set of long tube headers form Jegs. Also get an intake like stated above. A perfromer RPM, or RPM airgap would work nice. Call Comp Cams and they can recommend you a cam that will work with your stock heads. You should notice a big improvement.
