You can always try to apply heat (via torch), but be sure you've got a place for the heated brake fluid to go. They will (and do) tend to explode. Literally.

My recommendation is to simply take a pair of vice grips to the nut. The steel tubing will twist and eventually brake off, since it is rusted solid to the nut. You should replace everything anyway. (Sounds like you already plan to.) If not replacing the tubing, just cut a small section of tubing, re-flare and replace with a joiner.

The rusting of the nut is common... Good luck.

On mine, I sniped the line near the nut and used a 12 point combo wrench to break it loose.

You are using a brakeline wrench, not a normal wrench, correct? That helps...

Try ansdsoak it in PB Blaster, that stuff works great. Most likely you will demolish the nuts around your brake lines but you will want to use new ones anyway. Usually, new brake lines come with the fittings already on the lines ready to go.

I respect your right to try to wrench it off....

Really, cut and swap in all new SS tubing.
