Hope your weekend is going good...took a look at my rear glass on my fastback (POD) and notice rust stains from where the metal had rusted beneath the chrome trim of the back glass. Since I will be yanking that glass out as I weld in new sheetmetal, any ideas on how to get rid of the rust stains??? BTW...I already tried windex....what is next?

shouldn't, it is designed to clean bathrooms. I would keep it off the paint

 

Yeah it will eat paint but glass no i have used it around the house for a long time kentucky has hard water problems if it hasn't hurt my bath tub your fine.

If it's just stains on the glass, try lightly dry buffing it with 0000 fine steel wool. I used it on my '65 to remove overspray and other gunk.
