Default Buying these tomorrow, How to clean?

I am picking up these headers tomorrow off craigslist.

$40. As you can see they have minor surface rust. Descripton is:

Hooker headers, part number 6901. They were Jet-Hot coated about 4 years ago, but are beginning to peel. They are still solid if you wanted to get them recoated, no rot, just surface rust and a couple dents.

What would be the best way to get whatever surface rust I can off of them? And how much s Jet-Hot coating???

Or should I pass on them? Seemed like a pretty good deal...

Classic Coke will remove that rust. Sounds like a good deal to me but I can't remember what it costs to have them coated.

Yeah. I don't know a whole lot about auto repair, but I do know from chemistry class that soaking them in Coca-Cola should help a lot. I would really like to know if it doesn't. But it definitely won't hurt to try.

Put it in a tub of water, washing soda(I believe) and a battery charger. If anything this is just way more fun!
