Default shocks

I recently purchased a front suspension kit, and rear leaf spring kit from CJ Pony. I was wondering what kind of shocks I should get. I see gas shocks everywhere for the 65 Coupe. I am only guessing that these are compatible. Any suggestions??

KYB Gas-A-Just shocks are a pretty good bang for the buck. They're cheap, but they handle very well. Catch is, they're very stiff. KYB also makes a GR-2 shock which rides smoother.

If you can afford them, Edelbrock's IAS shocks are awesome. I swapped my Gas-A-Justs out for some Edelbrocks recently and I love them. There wasn't anything wrong with the KYB's, but the Edelbrocks ride smoother and handle better.
