what is the name of the place in portland? I live right over the border and would love to buy without paying for shipping or the sales tax.
The place in Portland is the guys first name that starts with a B and ends with a B.
**** Mustang Parts. I had nothing but problems with that place

There is a guy in Salem Oregon who is much more pleasant to deal with.
Just do a search for "Mustang supply" in Salem Oregon (about an hour south of Portland)He doesn't have a website but runs a Classic Mustang salvage yard and can order you anything you need with hardly any mark-up.

I just dealt with a guy in Albany last week that was really nice to deal with. He wasn't the big purist type and he had a lot of parts to choose from.

That would be him, I call to order something and end up talking to him for an hour.
In my opinion he is a great guy who LOVES Mustangs and those are always great people to deal with in my book.
I'm sure we are talking about the same guy. I would just tell you who it is.But this website Mustang Forums has bills to pay aswell and people who don't advertise here should not be mentioned directly. It's only fair

I use MU quite a bit. Delivery is slow and comms are slower but the goods always arrive.
I would agree their quality control is questionable if it indeed exists, but there are many suppliers who are much worse.
However, I think each shop has a responsibility not to sell poor quality items, so they should correct the issues and cover freight IMHO.
