I ordered new parts for my stang and they shipped me defective items
Like:
Uneven coils by like 1/4
1 black coated hood hinge and the other unpainted
and one loose upper door hinge
[:@]im pissed i was hoping to get everything on this week know i have to wait to ship them back
and i dont even know if i have to pay to ship them back(and the time to get them back)
and they still have my spring insulators on back order[>:].................................

 

sorry dude, Im gonna have to say that CJ is probably my favorite place for parts. i never have trouble getting what i need or with service. (Not a paid advertisement)

NPD FTW. i also like cj, and cal mustang

 

i like mustangs unlimited..but i pretty much always use them because i can drive an hour & a half to their warehouse and buy my parts quick

 

I tried A Mustang place out of Portland Oregon once, I placed an order online once and over the phone twice and still never got my order placed. I was not charged for anything thank god.
I have been testing out a few places to see who ships fast or free and gets it right without hassle, So far one place in Sacramento Ca and the other in Las Vegas NV have been spot on for me.
M/U to me was slow and hardly anything as far as order conformation was sent to me,It was all in the box. but it felt like a blind shipment.

M/D has a good website,very easy to find stuff,I have not ordered anything from them yet,I'm waiting on a large contribution from another forums member who lives near Detroit MI before I spend any REAL money there.

 

mustangs unlimited has worked for me, but Mustangs Plus is total garbage to me. - NPD is right up the road so i stick with them mostly though.

 

CJ's offers free shipping every Weds, I live 100 miles from them and if I order Weds I have it by Friday. Virginia Classic Mustang are the nicest people you will ever deal with, I have also had pretty good luck with NPD.

 

I always use NPD if I can, they have never let me down. However, there is some things that they do not carry, so I must go elsewhere. However, NPD (for classic mustang specific parts) and Jegs are the 2 places I most commonly order from.

 

Sorry to hear about your trouble, but keep in mind that M/U is a re-seller just like all the others. They all get pretty much the same stuff from the same manufacturers and because of this it is very possible that you would have had the same experience with the others. I have used M/U several times in the past and have always had a good experience with them.

In reference to the unpainted hood hinge their online catalog says this: "These come both black painted & in unfinished metal. We have no control over this, so depending on your preference you may want to either paint or strip the hinge."
