Only reason I am modding it now is because I don't plan on seeing it during college. I am going to leave it with my dad and then while at college I am going to buy another. I think with my bigger wheels I am getting better acceleration

get a 8in or 9in and put good gears in it, it will make it quicker (up to a certain speed)

Probably not, but the ability to get a few more mph out of each gear may be making you think so.

BTW, keep it NA for now. Boost and spray have a way of involving more $ than expected and are NOT good things to add to a tired engine (unless you really do hate it).

It was rebuilt in 2005. Engine blew up on PO and they had it bored and rebuilt. I think it only has about 15,000 miles since then.

I guess what I don't understand is why the issue with your friend even exists. If I remember correctly, a few years ago, in High School, whenever I got crap from one of my friends, my response typically was

"Blow me."

Tell him his car is cute, and move on.

Is that a 66 Sprint 200? Or did you just make it look like 1?

Here is my engine bay. This was when I repainted the walls.

very nice, you did a great job. we still are working on ours. still working on the wipers and accesories like that.

now when we re did it we did not care about originatlity and just stripped everything and painted the air cleaner that silver color. thats actually paint not metal.
