So I bought a new t-handle several years ago and never put it on. Now that the old girl is running again I thought I would put it on. Is there some secret? I slide it over the top of the shifter but the button just kind of slides around loosely without moving the lock mechanism. Without the handle on the shifter works fine. Also, where does the shifter light get power?
