okay, 302 and 289 are the most reliable. 351w is good midsize power. 427 is the most powerful out of the factory.

My favorite would be a 59AB. Something about the sound of an old flat head is just way too cool!

i hear good things about the 351 but i gotta go with the 429.

Hey VFast. You have over 11 thousand posts, but are not listed as the most. What gives with that? If I had the room in my 65, I would have a Cammer in it. Then I could say I have a restomod.

well i like my 460 its smooth and has boatlaods of torque but i would have to give this award to the 302 cause its like the chevy 350 ford stuck them in everything so parts are plentiful and cheap

Depends on the mood. I like the 385 series engines for all out grunt, but the 4.6L for its efficiency, and the 5.0L/302 for its high rpm howl and easy mod's.
