Default seat riser

I asked a while ago if i needed the seat risers for structure. i was told unainmously "YES!" I put the seats im going to use on the floor with no seat riser, my head was about 3 inches away from the roof (with no headliner installed). I cant see lowering the factory risers (raising my seat any higher)so i fabbed up these cross bars, they need to be shortened a hair to run flush with the floor. what do you think? do i need more of a support or should that do it?

I know that when i carpet it will be a lil odd but thats not a big deal it will be hidden under the seat anyways. are there any other problems that i am going to run into?
thanks,
Kramer
