I'm fairly certain that I have a set of the reducers, but not the 3 bolt flange "rings". The headers I've been using have the 2 bolt type flange built into header.... where no nuts are used and the two bolts bolt directly into the headers flange.

This aside, any muffler shop should have the 3 bolt flange rings and be able to whip out a set of reducers in a matter of a few minutes. It would probably be cheaper to buy them locally than on-line.

thanks for the help,

id much rather buy them locally because im tired of dealing with the joke they call Pypes exhaust. im in college and tried to find a good deal, but the company is rather moronic and about as willing to help a customer as a used car sales man.

it seems very easy to do, only reason i cant do it is the lack of a decent welder and the flanges them selves.

since it seems to be an easy thing can i expect a decent price?(under 60) obviously location, expertise and materials will determine it but if i know ahead of time what to expect i would feel better prepared.

I can't imagine it being anywhere near $60.

Find a little run down shop with some guy sitting outside smoking a cigarette... or better yet drinking a beer.... and hand him a $20 and a six pack of Bud. Don't go in the office, don't ask for a receipt. There should be cutoff pieces of new 2.5" pipe laying all over the floor next to the pipe bender. These "scrap" pieces will work fine for you. All he needs to do is place a scrap piece in the pipe bender and flare one end (X2 pieces of pipe). It shouldn't take more than 3-5 minutes. The collector flanges will probably be hanging on a hook on the wall somewhere in the shop.

although i live in a small town the good old shops like that cease to exist. trust me ive looked.

i alredy have extra 2.5 inch piping from teh kit ill see if they would use that to reduce the cost.

the only reason im trying to be cheap is that ive already spent over 200 dollars than what i thougth id originally spend when i choose the kit.

200 isnt a lot to most on here, but that was graduation money i needed for a new computer for school.
