I have an elderbrock water pump that i just put in today with my dad and we put all the bolts in but noticed that there were two areas that appeared to need a bolt in there but didnt have any threads in the holes. When we added water to the raditor it leaked from them holes can anyone tell me or send me a photo of how the bolt pattern is or what i do with the holes.

 

Did you have any bolts left over? Was there a backing plate cover on you new pump?

 

Your Alternator bracket should bolt into water pump also... Can you take a picture?
