I like Glazier's Mustang Barn (www.mustangbarn.com). Great customer service, andthey also run a restoration shop so they have techs on hand to answer questions. I've also been known to order stuff from Laurel Mountain Mustang, Virginia Classic Mustang, and Mustangs Plus (when absolutely necessary). NPD sells a lot as well, but I find that they're often rather pricey compared to some of the other places.

ive used virginia classic for some stuff and had good experience with them.

ive heard of people dealing with www.mustangdepot.com as well with good things.

to me NPD is expensive.IE convertible top hydraulic cylinders were $40 a peice more then i could buy at one of the other reputible mustang shops people talk about on here, replica key blanks were like $4 each instead of the $1.50 at virginia classic.

Ive priced an entire winshield washer system between NPD & VC and there was a considerable difference as well.

It definately will save you to shop around at all those places. I usually use NPD, CJ's, or Mustang depot. They both ship fairly quickly. Never had any problems with any of them and I have ordered a ton of stuff over the past 1.5 years.

if you need parts that are not mustang specific, as in wheels or parts for your engine, don't forget summit racing and jegs.com
They have great catalogues if you're one of those who likes reading catalogues .... ;-)
NPDs catalogues is great as well. What I like about them is when I ask them a parts question they will know the answer.
As well they have a lot of exploded views in the catalogue for easy identification of the part numbers ...
I usually order in a bunch and then check who sells all of the parts needed so I have 1 order instead of 3.
Sometimes I use someones website to get the part and order of someone else

First thing you should buy is the 1964 ford shop manual ;-)

+1 on the Shop Manual. They are available in paperback or C/D. Go with the paperback, its cost a little more but the C/D is a pain. I have also been suprised at how many parts my local auto parts store's have in stock. I have picked up oil pan and exhaust gaskets, voltage regulator, starter soleinold among other parts. My point being check your local place before paying shipping and waiting for a part to arrive.
