Media blasting gone wrong...possibly
So i took the front suspension parts that i can salvage to a media blaster and the guy freakin blasted my spindles where they go into the wheel. PLEASE tell me they're not ruined!
well, the truth at least. Can i polish them back to original or can i just grease the hell out of them?

These aren't the best pics, couldnt get good lighting to really see them, but you can see how all of the smooth machine look of them is now hasa dull ground-down wire wheeled look.

I think that he may have used sand on it, he mentioned also having sand for heavy metals so he may have. I just dont want to end up having to replace them. This **** always happens to me. somehitng always goes wrong turning something small into a struggle.
of course, thats what he said to me, "Well, they weren't taped off so i wasnt sure and just hit them." I so badly wanted to yell "you work on car all the time! You SHOULD know where its important to have the metal perfectly smooth!"
The only part that has to be really smooth is the inner 'shoulder' where the wheel bearing seal goes.
If that texture is too rough for the seal, it would wear out quick.
If you had've a bench grinder, get some cotton polishing disks and some rouge. If you dont have a grinder, get one.
You might use some 400 or 600 grit on it before you attempt to polish.
The guy was a moron to not tape it off before blasting. If he used walnut shells or corn cob, you are in good shape. If he used say, ground mining slag or aluminum oxide it may be more work. Probably not ruined though.
