Light Switch question
Since someone had asked the other day....
I just got in my new light switch today.
As I understand from reading up on how to replace it....you remove the instrument cluster housing then there is a push button release to pull the **** out of the switch. After the **** and stem are removed you can unscrew the switch bezel.
Does that sound about right to anyone who has replaced one or can you get at it from the underside and avoid removing the instrument cluster?
This weekend I plan to replace my light switch and I have had a wiper switch sitting on the work bench for a while so while I am there will probably replace the wiper switch as well.
Long story but my wiper switch was acting up a while back then I gave the **** on it a good pull and it started behaving for the time being

That's about the same process I used to replace the light switch on my 67 coupe...IIRC, however, I was able to go underneath with my hand and push the release button, pull the stem, remove bezel, and remove the old switch. Not alot of room to work in but very possible to do without removing the cluster...
