Has anybody tried the Turbonator? Does it even work? The link is at the bottom of the page.

Will it fit on a carbureted Mustang? For only $69.95 and a 30 day money back guarantee, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it. But, I wouldn't get one. If you want turbo power, put on a real turbo. [:-]

Pay no attention to those scams. I know people who knew they were a scam, and bought it to prove once and for all that they are a waste of money. Funny thing is, it ended up actually causing a airflow restriction.

Wait.. I just realized that link is to those drop in steel stamps. Nevermind my comment then.

I hear they do have positive affects, but not 35 horsepower worth. And its definately not worth 65 bucks. Your paying for 2 dollars max worth of steel.

Causing a turbulance in the air fuel mixture would have the effect of seperating the heavier fuel from the air like a centrifuge. Not good.

In the 70's there were a lot of devices claiming fuel mileage improvements such as a propeller that mounted under the carb to swirl the air. There was a device that replaced your coil wire that had a gap the coil had to build up a hotter spark to jump. All these things in the directions said to install the device and advance the timing 2 degrees. If you advanced the timing and threw the device away you would get the same results as far as fuel mileage is concerned.
