Oof. For that price you really, really need to closely inspect that puppy. Take a buddy or two, get it on a rackand go over that thing with a fine toothed comb.
He doesn't brag about it being a 4 speed so I'm guessing it is a 3 speed by that and the 3speed shifter ball. Not that there is anything intherently (sp?) wrong with that, but just an observation.
That is an arrow straight price for a non-gt vert. So, caveat emptor.
Take your time and play it cool. You will know it when you see it. Be careful, inspect closely and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Thanks for you response. I live in canada so its hard to go down and take a look. Also I am have never restored a car and looking for a daily driver for a few years and repair down the road. IF I asked a car buff down in the usa to take a look at a car I wonder if someone would. Being in Canada it makes it to expensive to come back and fourth.
I will ask someone from maybe a fourm to go by takea look and I could maybe send them cash from pay pal.
If you know of anyone selling a mustang conv in great shape V8 (1964-1968) Please pass the message on.
Thanks again and hope to here from yourself and others

There are car brokers that will perform that service. Not sure how you would go about getting hold of one but they are out there.
For 21 large you want something finished and better than just driver status.

I'd get in touch with the local Mustang club, I'm sure they'd be happy to help you out. Have patience or you may get burned. These days the prices on most "collectible" cars are stagnant at best, a deal can be had.
