Default Replacing Turn Signal Cam

used a wheel puller to take the steering wheel off....much easier than expected. The filthy thing at the top of the colum is the turn signal cam. One of the "ears" broke off, which means the lever wouldn't center after a turn to the right. Trick part is making sure the pin-out in the connector at the base of the column matches the ones on the new cam. More as I continue.

I broke that on my 92 Oldsmobile. I was stopped about to turn left, and I had to straighten the wheel, so I held the lever down so it wouldnt cancell, like I had done a few times before. Well, from that day on, it doenst automatically cancell on left turns. It just added to the fun of the electrical nightmare of that car, like having to manually click the right turn signal *on*off*on*off*on*off*on*off. Darn thing wont blink. I need to check out the wiring some warm day soon. And order a new switch..

So your doing alittle DIY explanation on the R/R? Sounds like a good idea. Good luck with it.

yeah, that's pretty much it....I'd done a lot of research on the various Mustang fora, and I couldn't find a single source on how to do it. I'm an idiot, so I appreciate pictures. I'll post all of them soon, so that if anyone else has to do this, they'll see how.
